William “Bill” D. Brave

 Bill Brave age 85, passed away on Monday June 29, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Chippewa Valley in Bloomer, WI.  He was born in Greenville, IL on January 20, 1930 to Clarence and Clara Robinette Brave.

 As a young man, Bill met the love of his life, Lettie Klipp.  They were married on July 26, 1952 in Manteno IL.  During their 60 years of marriage Bill and Lettie lived in various cities in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Texas.  Throughout his 85 years of life Bill had many different careers including pipeline construction and national area service representative for AO Smith, but the most enjoyable was as the owner of Brave Harvestore in Menomonie WI.  In his free time, Bill enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, house boating, and spending time with all of his friends.  Bill also served in the Army and was a member of the Moose Lodge and Zor Shriners.

 Bill was preceded in death by his wife Lettie, and his parents.

 Those left to honor Bills memory include his two sons, Mark Brave and wife Jennifer, Michael Brave and wife Julie, grandchildren, Penny Burstad and husband Monte, Nicholas Brave and wife Melanie, and Nicole Hemphill and husband Peter great grandchildren, Olivia Burstad, Connor Burstad, Isabella Hemphill, Chloe Hemphill, and Jack Brave.

 A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 Monday, July 13, 2015 at Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with a graveside service to be held in Manteno, IL at a later date.
