When I think of Jeannie, I smile because she always made me laugh! She was so witty, kind, and intelligent! Prayers to family and friends.

  2. Cassie (Bauer) Draper

To Jean and Larry Mountain's family,
I took care of both Jean and Larry around 10 years ago as a CNA at the Red Wing Health Center. Very few people stick like glue in my mind from those years of caring for individuals at the Health Center but Jean and Larry sure have. Larry's almost shy smile and his laugh will never leave my memories as well as Jean's spunk and silliness. Despite their debilitating conditions - they most always maintained those fun-loving attitudes in the months/years I cared for them. Years later, I am a registered nurse working in Eau Claire - and Jean and Larry remain two of my favorite "patients".
Thank you for sharing your family with me. May God bring you the comfort and Joy only He can bring.
    Cassie

  6. Jean Crownhart Zeithaml

I consider Jeanne to have been my very best friend all through school, kindergarten to 12th grade, and beyond. I think my very fondest memories are sitting together on the daily school bus ride and on the bus to sporting events, especially those special trips like to Spooner for sectional basketball tournaments. We had a ball! You and your family have my deepest sympathy and I share in your sorrow.

  7. Gene Westling

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Mountin family. Jeanne was such a thoughtful, compassionate, and generous person. I'm thankful to have known her. When I think about her many wonderful talents, one above all the others stands out. Jeanne made our wedding cake and it was simply spectacular. Cathy and I will never ever forget you Jeanne, for the kindness you always showed, your soft-spoken way, and your playful spirit. You touched our lives in countless ways.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jeannie and
I shared a room in Eau Claire for a semester at CCVTC. I really liked and enjoyed being her friend. We had a great time that Halloween in Eau Claire; her and Bill and my ex-husband and I. Bill dressed as a woman and the four of us had a ball! I have and will always remember her with memories of what a wonderful friend and person she was, inside and out. God Bless and may yourmemories bring you comfort.
