Stan is survived by his love; Judy, his beloved cat; Hummer, four step-children; Joanne (Marty) Wegner, Jennifer Jahnke, Jamey (Kayla) Jahnke and Jill (Josh) Rose, three grandsons; Isaac Wegner, Gavin and Cooper Jahnke, these boys were the light of his life. Stan enjoyed visits from them and watching them participate in sporting events. Siblings; Kathy (Scott) Messier, Bob Hutter, Vicci Rosenberg, Kent “Jug” Hutter, Jill (Gene) Leonard, Kelli Boigenzahn and many nieces and nephews. Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marion Hutter, brother; Steven, sister-in-law; Judy Hutter, grandparents and his faithful companion dog; Betsy.

Stan enjoyed fishing, watching sports, car shows, antique shows and the History Channel on TV.  Stan liked collecting Coca Cola items, zippo lighters and fishing lures, making necklaces which many family members enjoyed wearing.

Stan married Judy Coburn on December 6, 1991 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.

Stan served his country honorably during the Vietnam War Era for the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Durand American Legion Post #181.

Per Stan’s request, no funeral services will be held locally. He will be resting at the Northwest Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery in Spooner with full Military Honors on 11:00 AM, Monday October 19, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.

Stan’s philosophy regarding life: LIFE is not journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming; WOW, WHAT A RIDE!!

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
