She is survived by five children, three daughters, Lonna (Mervyn) Doane and Rhonda (Terry) Kuester and Roxanne (Wojtek) Kulacz all of Menomonie; two sons, Richard of Stillwater, MN, and Randy (Sharon Register) of Menomonie; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dewayne (Helen) Hedlund of Boyceville, Jerome (Judy) Hedlund of the Twin Cities, three sisters, Sherry Bay of the Twin Cities, Sandy Rooney of the Twin Cities, Shelia (Paul) Webber of Burlington, several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends and she will be sadly missed.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ron in 2005, two brothers-in-law, Ken Bay and Tom Rooney.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday November 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie with Rev. James Kurzynski.  Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials in memory of Shirley to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or School.

Sending sympathies on the loss of your mom Lonna. She was known as Shirley Shaklee back when I used to sell Shaklee under her.

One of my all time favorite people! I will greatly miss her!

  5. Jean Rogan Bryant

I had many conversations with Aunt Shirley through the last few years. She brought me up to date with all the relatives. Her spunk and enthusiasm for life amazed me as she was getting up in age. Her memory was better than mine. I will forever cherish those conversations. I'm glad you didn't suffer and were able to live your life independently until the end. All my love to those who will miss you here on earth. Love, Jean
