Jeffrey “Jeff” Phillip Meixner age 42 of Downsville, passed away on the morning of February 1, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident.

Jeff was born in Menomonie on March 9, 1973 to Shari Reinier and David Meixner.  He attended various schools in west central Wisconsin, where he made several friends who continued to be a part of his life.  Jeff had a very big heart and would do anything for anyone.  He had a fantastic sense of humor, he was loyal and hard working.  Jeff will be missed by many.

As a little boy he was very curious.  He needed to know what made things work.  He took apart every toy to see how it operated.  He took all his bikes apart, and seldom was there a knob left on a door.  Jeff was very athletic.  In school he was involved in football, basketball, and wrestling.  He also loved swimming, fishing and volleyball.  He was a big fan of the Minnesota Wild Hockey Team, but a bigger fan of the local hockey team his boys played for.

Jeff is survived by his sons, Drake and Ravyn Jensen; his mother, Shari Reinier (Jeffery Hagenkord); his father David Meixner; his sister Jaden Leigh;  his brother Todd Doverspike; his grandmothers, Elaine Mahnke and Beulah Schutz, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his girlfriend, Danielle Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Randall Reinier and Warren Mahnke.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday February 13, 2016 at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie.

   Oh my sweet and 16 yr long friend I am going to truly and HONESTLY miss you so much!!! The laugher we had the tears we shared and even the i don't like you so much moments...Its hard to believe your gone but my heart knows your in a much more beautiful place than I am. And hey be easy on him up there leave his door knobs on the doors, and don't take apart to many things that look like something you just have to know how it works..at least get his permission..God will keep you busy enough.    I'm Jeff's cousin - Marty Reinier's daughter. Jeff and I were very close when we were growing up. We lived across the street from each other and played together quite often. I'm so sorry to hear of his tragic death and will be keeping him in my prayers, as well as all his family. May he rest in peace.
