Mary F. Cutnaw age 84 of Menomonie, died Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Care Center, Red Cedar in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Mary was born June 15, 1931 in Dickenson, ND.  She was the daughter of Delbert and Edith (Pritchard) Cutnaw. 

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1953; her Master of Science, University of Wisconsin, 1957, Postgrad-University of Wisconsin-1959-1960 and 1967-1968.  Mary taught at the Vocational School in Stevens Point, Pulaski High School in Milwaukee.  She was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Madison.   Mary taught at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Speech Dept. and was a Professor Emeritus since 1974.  Mary was a Communications and personnel consultant in St. Paul, MN.  She also was a writer/editor for Public New Legal Press since 1995.

Mary enjoyed her pets, reading, Philanthropy, but mostly spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her partner, Mary Jo Rathke of Menomonie, and Mary Jo’s relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kent.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie.
