I cried when 'baby brother Patrick' was born and I cried when he died! Your're the best ever baby brother, with your ever affirming words, your laughter, your love of family, of life, of people, of horses and pony 'Charlie'. On a phone message you said you were in the woods wishing I could share one of your favorite smells: 'grape vine
    blossoms."

I am so sorry to see Pat passed away. I have so many good memories of him. He and his wife Patti taught our religious Ed class when we were in jr high. That was quite a challenge as we were not always the best kids. He helped fuel my love of horses. I will never forget when he let me ride High Pockets, his palomino horse. I spent a lot of time at the Bauer house. Peggy and I were in the same grade. When my parents were in the nursing home in Durand, they would talk about Charlie coming in to visit. After they passed away, I found myself owning miniature horses. Because of Pat, I got them certified and started taking them to the nursing homes. He was a wonderful man and will be missed in the Lima community. Truly a man who followed all God laid out for him.
