He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Anton Forster, two sisters in infancy, Josephine and Julianna, a brother-in-law and a son-in-law.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 19, 2016 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Rev. Jerry Hoeser officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Today, I say good-bye to my great friend and 40+ year farming mentor. Bud was so easy to talk to about any issue and situation, and of course he would always give me his advice in three ways - the right, the wrong and then Bud's way. Rest in peace my friend and as Paul Harvey says, "God made a great farmer and now he gets only the best."
