Beatrice M. "Bea" Weber
Beatrice M. “Bea” Weber, age 89 of Durand, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand with her family by her side.
Bea was born on September 16, 1927 in Wabasha, MN. She was the daughter of Levi and Ottilia (Ebert) Lane. Bea grew up in Wabasha and attended St. Felix. She married Wayne W. Weber on November 22, 1949 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle. After marriage, they lived in Durand before moving to Arkansaw, where they raised their family. After Wayne’s death, Bea moved to Durand where she remained the rest of her life.
Bea enjoyed being at their trailer in Amery. Mostly, Bea loved to spend time with family and friends.
Bea is survived by her children; Chuck (Debbie Hubbard) of Durand, Dave (Holly) of Rapid City, SD, Denise (Larry) Marcks of Pepin, Bill (Leza) of Mudgee, NSW, Australia and Curt (Ginger) of Durand, 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Wayne, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 9, 2016 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Rev. Jerry Hoeser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
