Hal D. Martin

Hal Douglas Martin, age 73, of Lake Havasu city, Arizona passed away on October 24, 2016 at home peacefully surrounded by his family.

Hal was born September 23, 1943 to Harry and Belle Martin in Plum City, Wisconsin. Hal graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1961 and married Polly Sinz in 1964. They raised 3 children in Mt. Iron, MN until they moved to Alaska in 1985. He worked for Operating Engineers Local 302 until he retired and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 2003.

Hal enjoyed watching people fish at Site 6, Havasu 95 Speedway, The Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, and playing cards with the family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all.

Hal is survived by his wife of 52 years, Polly; son, Brian (Michelle Moser) Martin, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; daughter, Shelly (Larry Larson) Allen of Juneau, Alaska; Terry (Bonnie) Martin of Eugene, Oregon; grandchildren, Braden (Lyric) Martin of Idaho; Megan Martin, of California; Kolbi Martin of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Lois Richardson of Plum City, Wisconsin, and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Belle Martin; brother-in-law, Leslie Richardson and nephew, Arlen Richardson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

    Our sincerest condolences to Hal's family and friends. I spoke to him briefly on the phone concerning the 55th class reunion which was being held in late August. He indicated then he could not travel to the reunion and sent his greetings to all. Dallas
