Anthony C. "Tony" Sinz

Anthony C. "Tony" Sinz

Anthony “Tony” Charles Sinz, age 36, of Savage, Minnesota, formerly of Eau Galle, Wisconsin passed away suddenly from a heart condition on July 16, 2017.

Tony was born on December 14, 1980, in Durand, Wisconsin. He was the first born son of parents, Charlie and Karen Sinz, and eldest brother to Denise and Christopher.

Tony graduated from Durand High School in 1999 and earned a four year food science degree at the University of Wisconsin -River Falls.  Tony worked in research and development for General Mills in Golden Valley, MN and proudly added the “Sinz Factor” to many foods.

Tony’s passion was farming.  He was raised on the family farm (Edgewood Dairy) in Eau Galle, Wisconsin.  Throughout his adult years Tony loved returning to the farm to work with his dad. Hardly a day went by without him calling his dad to see how things were running on the farm.

Tony enjoyed watching Packer and Badger football, specifically the last four years of Badger football. Tony loved every aspect of his life from the city life to returning home to his field work where he couldn’t wait to drive one of the many John Deere tractors. He also loved boating, snowmobiling with his friends and playing cards at the hunting shack with his family. Tony had the ability to connect with anyone. Most importantly, Tony enjoyed sharing all of his passions with the love of his life, Justina and being an incredible father to Emma.

Tony was an extremely positive and caring person whose infectious smile and laughter filled a room. From his loving nature with Christopher to his quality time with Denise, Tony was the brother you could always count on.   He was always there for his family and friends and his enthusiasm for life touched so many.  He will be profoundly missed and his presence will never be forgotten.

He is survived by Justina and daughter, Emma of Savage, MN., his parents, Charlie and Karen of Eau Galle, his sister, Denise, of Minneapolis, brother, Christopher, of Eau Claire, maternal grandmother, Jeanette Bowen of Durand, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a Goddaughter. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norman Bowen and paternal grandparents, Blanche and Lyle Sinz.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Eau Galle with Rev. Jerry Hoeser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

He was simply the best, and loved by all.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
