Clair C Mulheron
Clair C. Mulheron age 90 of Elmwood,
Died: Saturday June 26, 2010 at the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home in Elmwood.
Claire was born October 7, 1919 in the Township of Rock, Pierce County. He was the son of Clarence and Francis (Hei) Mulheron and grew up on the family farm. Clair graduated from Elmwood High School in 1937. He hauled milk for several years, and in 1947 Clair purchased a farm in the Township of Rock Elm, rural Elmwood, where he farmed for many years. Clair married Lorraine “Ole” Webb August 12, 1947 in Elmwood. Clair stopped milking in the mid 1980’s but continued to due field work for several more years. For the past two years, Clair has been a resident of the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home.
Clair was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, one of the founding members of the Elmwood Rod & Gun Club. He loved to fish and spending time at their cabin; spending time with family and friends, playing cards with friends and neighbors and his “coffee buddies” in Elmwood.
Clair is survived by a son Hugh of Elmwood; two grandchildren, Sean (Van) Mulheron of Vadnais Heights, MN; ; six great grandchildren, Ian and Khai Mulheron; a brother, James (Jean) Mulheron of Menomonie; two sisters, Kathleen Bauer of Yorktown, VA and Ethel Bauer of Durand.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ole in 2007; two sisters, Virginia Fesenmaier and Cleo Diemert.
