Joshua D.G Westaby
Joshua David Gordon Westaby, age 20 of Colfax, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 as a result of a car accident in the Township of Red Cedar.
Josh was born in Barron on June 22, 1987. He was the son of Michael and Dana (Van Dyke) Westaby and grew up in the Menomonie and Colfax areas. Josh graduated from Elk Mound High School in 2005. He worked part-time for Ron Prochnow Farms during the planting and harvesting seasons. Josh had a passion and love for 4-wheeling and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Josh is survived by his father, Michael of Colfax, mother Dana of Chippewa Falls, two sisters Amber Westaby of Elk Mound and Shasta Westaby of Colfax a brother, Brian Westaby of Menomonie;a half-sister, Billie Jean Jensen of Madison, maternal grandfather, Gordon Van Dyke of Colfax, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jean Westaby of Jump River, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Van Dyke.
A time of gathering will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Menomonie.
Memorials if desired may be made to the Joshua Westaby Memorial Fund at the Bremer Bank in Colfax.
