Olivia M Endl
Olivia M. Endl, age 96 of Durand, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand.
Olivia was born on April 22, 1916 in Olivia, MN. She was the daughter of John and Gertrude (Gansen) Michels. Olivia grew up in the Lima area and attended Sacred Heart School in Lima. She married Frank Endl Jr. on November 3, 1936. After marriage they lived in the Bear Creek area of Pepin County, where Olivia raised their family. Olivia later worked at Club 10 and Huntsinger Farms in Mondovi. After the death of her husband in 1973, Olivia moved into the city of Durand where she remained the rest of her life.
Olivia liked to play cards, fish and crochet. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
Olivia is survived by, her sons; Dennis (Sandra) of Eau Claire, Robert (Debbie) of Rock Falls, five grandchildren; Susan (Larry) Kumferan, Donna (David) Rodgers, Michael (Jane) Endl, Ted (Cyndy) Endl, Stacy (Grant) Gunderson, all of Eau Claire, 11 great grandchildren, one sister; Vera (Lester) Barden of Fall Creek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Frank Endl Jr., one grandson; Corey Endl, four brothers; Adolph, Clarence, Conrad and Sylvester Michels and one sister; Margaret Lindenfelser.
