Richard J Gust
Richard J. Gust age 79 of Menomonie, died Monday October 28, 2013 at his home in the Township of Tainter, Dunn County, surrounded by his family.
Richard was born February 18, 1934 in Grand Forks, ND. He was the son of John and Frances (Kotrba) Gust. Richard grew up and lived most of his life in East Grand Forks. Richard married Patricia Weiland on October 17, 1953 in Euclid, Minnesota. Richard worked for Driscoll Brother Farms in East Grand Forks for forty seven years. In 1997 Richard and Pat moved to Menomonie where Richard remained the rest of his life.
Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years Pat, six children, Gary (Cheryl) of Menomonie; Gale (Donald) Zejdlik of East Grand Forks, MN; Jeffrey (Gwen) Gust of Colfax; Scott (Kim) Gust of Menomonie; Genevieve (Jeffery) Ellingson of Bismarck, ND; Heidi (Kevin) Fransen of Freeland, MI; 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Gust of Arlington, VT; Gerard Gust of Fisher, MN; one sister, Sr. Francella Gust of Crookston, MN; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and one sister.
