Lee R Kundy
Lee R. Kundy age 73 of Wilson, passed away on Sunday November 10, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire with his family at his side.
Lee was born on February 5, 1940 in LaCrosse, WI to Wilbur and Elaine Kundy. He graduated from Elmwood High School in 1959. Lee married Karen Rogers August 27, 1960 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie, and they were blessed with four children. Lee worked at Hart Ski Mfg. in St. Paul until 1980 and then worked as a custodian at Little Elk Creek and River Heights Schools in Menomonie, retiring in 1996.
Lee enjoyed woodworking projects, hunting, fishing, watching wildlife, playing cards, and spending time at his trailer in Amery.
Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen; sons, Dave “Fred” (Nan) and James both of Baldwin; daughters, Terry (Rich Nelson) Weber of Amery; Cindy (Bob) Fouks of Glenwood City; grandchildren, Derek Aamodt; Dan (Rachel) Aamodt; Dawn (Ron) Griffin; J.C. and Reba Hefty; Alyssa Fouks (who he lovingly called “Peanut); great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jacob, Caleigha, Caleb, Zaynah, Rayana, and Braedyn; brother, Harold (Kay) of South Carolina; sisters, Evelyn (Howard) Rood; Lousia “Patty” (Daniel) Rose; Geneva “Snooks” (Dave) Brown; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Elaine and Harvey Ferris, a brother Eugene “Butch” Ferris.
