Eugene P Schmidt
Eugene P. Schmidt age 76, formerly of Elk Mound, died Saturday December 14, 2013 at Colfax Health & Rehabilitation in Colfax where he has been a resident for the past several years.
Eugene was born April 30, 1937 in Chippewa County. He was the son of George and Alvina Schmidt. Eugene grew up in the Elk Mound area where he helped his parents on the home farm. Eugene was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk Mound.
Eugene is survived by a sister, Loretta Holbrook of Milwaukee; two nieces, Judy Bell of Altoona; Debbie Holbrook of Pigeon Falls, VA and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
