  2. Geoffrey Phillips nee' Jeff Philpott

Dolly and family, Brad was one of the first friends I made back when we were all little kids on W. Third Avenue and we were all tying our wagons together playing circus train and playing in each others sand boxes, being annoying to all adults, and basically doing those things kids do on a regular basis. You and Gene did such a marvelous job of raising your kids to become the men and women they are today. My heart aches at this news, so please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences over his passing. I am sure the strong family that you and Gene fostered got him through many of his most difficult times, so rest assured though physically gone, he is very much present with you in spirit as the bonds of family and love are forever.

  3. Rich and Teresa Wadell

Dear Brittany, Spencer, and Rohrscheib family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your dearest loved one. I know the pain of the deep void felt when a loved one is no longer living among us. But, I also know the joy of realizing that a loved one is now in the loving embrace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am praying that your grief will soon give way to the delight of your beloved memories. May the God of all comfort be with you all. Much love to you, Ms. Frank

To the family of Brad Bauer: I was sad to hear of Brad's passing. Also, I didn't know of his illness. It's been some time since I have seen any of the Bauer boys! Probably since we all played softball together on the 5th Quarter or Security National Bank team. That seems like a lifetime ago. I remember Brad, Dave and Ted's dad Gene vividly! He was always a fine man and decent father! The Bauer family always stuck together, that was one of Gene's and Dolly's strengths that they instilled on the kids! It was a great time in my life just knowing such a family and I will truly miss Brad. He passed much too soon! Brad, Dave and especially Ted were fine ball players! Those were the days! Until we meet again Brad, I bid you farewell for now! Take care all of the Bauer family!
Blue, Robert, Catherine & Saige Plutshack

    Brad,
Through eight years at St. Mary's followed by four years at DHS, you were always a good friend. You were always one of the, if not the best, athletes I ever played with. You made many of the rest of us better. You were a great athlete with your hard work and effort for our teams, but you were a much better person. Caring and compassionate for others with a fierce loyalty to friends. I was always very proud to call you a friend of mine. God Bless Brad. I'll miss you.

Brad was one of those "Larger than Life" kind of guys. GREAT athlete, teammate and friend are just a few of the words used to describe him. In school or in a social setting, Brad was fairly quiet. But on the field or on the court, when Corn spoke, WE LISTENED! Keep throwin TD's and hittin HR's, your teammates will always be with you!

  29. Crystal Dow

A message to all of Brad's family----I had such a great time when Brad & I worked the Golf Club! I have vivid memories of him catching gophers and moles---putting them in a plastic bag, and then putting them in the food freezer.......Then he also would go into the pond for golf balls to sell, then quietly come in to the office and sit on the office chair when he was still soaking wet! I didn't know this, so when I had a chance to sit down on the chair, my backside would also be wet----goofy guy.
many good memories, and now he can be out of pain. My condolences---from Crystal Dow (Sockness)
