So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I got to meet him a few times over the last couple years. The last time I saw him he was visiting at the Durand nursing home in February. I was playing music for their "closing" party. He played the spoons during a few of my songs. Loved listening to him play the harp too. Again, sorry to his family and God bless you all.

Im so sad I can't make it.. He was such a special man I have so many memories .. Great Uncle Jim was so good to my grandfather (Fritz Schlosser) always making sure he could get to church when he no longer could drive and taking him grocery shopping. He checked in on me and my kids when I lived up there all the time to make sure we were ok. He left lasting memories of his baby panda who I was sure was real when I was young who always nipped at me when I pet it and he would laugh such a warm and hearty laugh it filled your heart. The last time I saw him he was at Walmart playing music even though it was so hard for him to do he played a lullaby for my daughter Victoria on his harmonica that was just so sweet. He touched so many people thru his music and his kind soul he did for so many and got such joy from it he will be greatly missed! It will not be the same going up to grandpas house and not seeing him come down that drive way just to pop in and chat with us. Although there is peace in where he is and that he is with all those that have gone before him the great loss will be felt by all here left behind.. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my family during this hard time he will continue to live on thru our stories and memories and forever in our hearts.. R.I.P UNCLE JIM I love you and you will be missed!!
