Thomas Allen Weisenbeck Jr., age 79 of Durand, died Saturday April 4, 2015 as a result of a tractor accident on the farm in the Township of Maxville, Buffalo County, rural Durand.  He has now gone home to be with the Lord.

Bowen August 26, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eau Claire.  Two weeks later he was called up to serve his country for the crisis in Cuba under President Kennedy.  After the service they raised five daughters on the family farm where he farmed until his death.

Tom loved to socialize, play cards, hunt, fish, watching his beloved Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, but most of all he loved farming. Tom was very proud of his farm being in the family for four generations. He was devoted to being a husband, father, grandfather, loyal friend and good farmer. In his later years he enjoyed working with the R.D.O. Potato Company.  Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He will be remembered fondly by his family for his strength, courage, wisdom and sense of humor.
