Clair R. Hurlburt, age 84 of Durand,

Died: August 4, 2008 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand.
Clair was the son of James McKinley and Edna (Hill) Hurlburt. He was born in Nelson and grew up in Buffalo County. Clair attended Oak Hill and Spring Creek Schools. He became an electrical technician and owned and operated Clair Hurlburt Electric in Durand. Clair married Florence (Wayne) Weeks on December 20, 1978. Florence died November 20, 2004. Clair has been a resident of the Oak View Care Center since November of 2007.
Clair is survived by four brothers, Perry (Fran) and Glenn Hurlburt, both of Durand, Hugh (Claire) Hurlburt of Holy Oak, MA and Horace (Carol) Hurlburt of Eau Galle, two sisters, Lola Hurlburt of Durand and Lana (Sandy) Odegard of Eau Galle, 42 nieces and nephews, 68 great nieces and nephews, 6 great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Florence, two brothers, Vivus and Orval Hurlburt.
