Rosie was born on January 27, 1950 in Durand. He was the son of Vaughn “Butch” and Elwaine (Ledahl) Rosenberg. Rosie grew up in Durand and graduated from Durand High School in 1968. He then attended UW-River Falls. Rosie married Patricia A. Brunner on June 6, 1970. Together they had two children, Michelle and Shawn, and they later divorced. He then married Vicci L. In 1998, Rosie fulfilled his dream of owning a bar when he purchased Noll’s Bar and named it Rosie’s. Rosie was proud that his bar was in its 18th year of business.

Rosie enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool, cooking gizzards and grilling chicken.  He enjoyed having beer with his friends while watching the Packers and Badgers. Rosie was a member of the Pepin County Tavern League, Durand Sportsmen Club and an annual host for Rosie’s UCP Event. Most of all, Rosie loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by his children; Michelle (Dale) Pittman, Shawn Rosenberg, both of Eau Galle, Adam (Carlos) Hutter-Valentin of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer (Chad) Rosenberg of Denver, CO and Jordan (Laura) Rosenberg of Arkansaw, six grandchildren; Jake, Rachel, Brett, Bryce, Rylee and Kyan, four great grandchildren, two brothers-in-law; James (LaVon) Lien Sr. of Janesville and Robert Tollison of Portage, ex-wives; Pat Rosenberg of Eau Galle and Vicci Rosenberg of Green Valley, AZ, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
