Madge Peck Cronk age 95 of Menomonie,
Died: Monday November 19, 2007 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie.
Madge was born June 7, 1912 at Grange Hall in Pierce County. She was the daughter of Wesley Ellis and Ethel (Robertson) Peck. Madge grew up in Elmwood. She graduated from Elmwood High School and later attended River Falls Teacher’s College for two years. Madge married Waldo S. Cronk at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie on September 28, 1938. They made their home on Route 2 in Menomonie where seven children were born.
In 1974 Madge moved to River Falls and in 1976 received her Bachelor of Science Degree for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She continued to reside in River Falls with the exception of four years in Hudson and Minneapolis. For the past two years she has resided at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie.
Madge is survived by four sons, Steve (Nancy) of Fredericksburg, VA; Gary (Jancie) of Menomonie; Malcolm (Bonnie) of Downing; Stanley (Vicki) of Cherry Valley, IL; two daughters, Annette (Richard) Graettinger of Cochran; Marion Cronk of Menomonie; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; her ex-husband, Waldo Cronk of Menomonie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Keith in 1962; two brothers, Merton Peck in 1987 and Marvin Peck in 1995; two great grandchild, Chad Raehsler and Adam Cronk.
