Goldia M Talford
GOLDIA TALFORD, age 79 of Rock Falls, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Dove Nursing Home in Eau Claire.
Goldia M. Talford was born on February 23, 1929; she was the daughter of George and Susan (Nichols) Becker. She married Elton Talford May 6, 1950 in Mondovi. After marriage they lived and farmed in the Rock Falls area. Goldia was an active member of the Rock Creek Lutheran Church and ELCA Women’s Program.
Goldia loved baking, tending her garden and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Goldia is survived by her husband Elton, children, Diane Fedie of Farmington, MN, Steve (Linda) Talford of Durand, Carol (Mike) Hartley of Milwaukee, Rick (Kathy) Talford of Rock Falls, Sandy (Bob) Froystad of Rock Falls, grandchildren, Jill, Amy, Becky, Troy, Chris, Ben, Andy, Nick, Beth, Jake, Josh and Grace, two great grandchildren, Alexis and Cole, one sister, Anna Gullikson of Eau Claire, one brother, Duttee (Lydia) Becker of Eau Claire. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Evelyn Rud and one brother Donald Becker.
