Robert Moore Allen

Robert Moore Allen passed away at his home in Colfax, Wisconsin, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the age of 52.  He was born September 19, 1963 in Ashland, Ohio to Robert Eugene and Frances Lea Allen.  He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amy C. Allen; three children, Elizabeth Grace Allen, Robert Michael Allen and Mitchell Ryan Domokos (Calie); two grandchildren Brady and Gunner Domokos; his mother Frances Allen; one brother Daniel Allen (Sheila); one sister Debra Wilson (Lee); two nieces, Krystal Fox and Sabrina Hood (Eric); and two great-nieces Esmeralda and Cosette.  He is preceded in death by his father Robert Allen and his best friend in life Wizard, his black lab for 16 years.

Robert had a passion for restoring antique cars and hot rods and spent most of his life working on them, either as a career or as a hobby.  He loved traveling with his wife and children, working in his shop and going to car shows.  Robert will be remembered for his friendly personality, rarely meeting a stranger, and his ability to find humor in almost any situation.  

Private Services will be held at Tainter United Methodist Church located at N7584 690th St., Colfax, WI 54730

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Tainter United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.

The family of Robert Allen wishes to thank the Albert J. and Judith A. Dunlap Cancer Center in Eau Claire and Mayo Hospice, as well as the Tainter United Methodist Church.

    To the family and friends of Robert Allen, I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the lost of a beloved family member is one of the hardest thing that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. During this extremely difficult time, please turn to God for much needed comfort and support. He promise to give the family of Mr. Allen the strength needed in order to endure this great lost.     It was such a shock to learn Bob had passed. We remember all the great times on Chatham.. He will be greatly missed . He was so special & fun to be around.
