Robert A. Poeschel
Robert A. Poeschel, age 84 of Durand, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at The Gracelands Nursing Home in Eau Claire.
Bob was born on April 18, 1933 on the Poeschel home farm in the Town of Lima, rural Durand. He was the son of Robert and Gertrude (Adams) Poeschel. Bob grew up on the home farm and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Lima. After school, Bob went to work on the family farm where he worked his entire life. Bob retired from farming and moved to a hobby farm in the Town of Lima.
Bob enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima, rural Durand. Most of all, Bob loved to spend time with family and friends.
Bob is survived by his brother; Wilbert of Durand, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Mass will be 11:30 AM Friday, December 22, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima, rural Durand. Rev. Paul Bosco will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
