Dean I. Yarrington, age 83 of Urne, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at American Lutheran Home in Mondovi with his family by his side.

Dean is survived by one brother; Neil (Bev) of Windsor, CO, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Alice Yarrington, brothers; Leslie “Burr” and Leon, sisters; Evelyn Worley, Leona Zeilinger, Bonita “Bonnie” Johnson.

Dean enjoyed watching sports, listening to music and his cat, Kitty. He liked the outdoors, going hunting, trapping and fishing. Dean spent most of his life driving truck for the Town of Nelson and many local farmers.

Graveside Services will be 5:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Durand. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 PM at Whitetail Bar in Urne, W1805 County Rd K, Durand, WI 54736.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.

   Even though one knows the time is near, it is never easy to watch the passing of a friend, brother or uncle. God will now take care of Dean and I pray all of the caregivers who gave so much time and love to Dean will be well taken care of by their family and friends.
