Lynn M. Lahti age 48 of Menomonie,
Died: Wednesday December 17, 2008 in the Township of Eau Galle as a result of an automobile accident.
Lynn was born July 24, 1960 in Menomonie. She was the daughter of Herbert and Gerry “Esther” (Thompson) Krueger, and was raised in the Hatchville community. She graduated from Menomonie High School in 1978. Lynn married Ed Lahti May 19, 1979. Together, they owned and operated their trucking business for several years. Lynn attended and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout. She went onto Law School at Hamline University in St. Paul. While at Hamline, Lynn was on the staff for the Hamline Law Review and graduated Summa cum laude. Lynn went on to do her post graduate at William Mitchell Law School in St. Paul. Lynn served as the Child Support Director for Dunn County for several years. Lynn also served as Assistant Corporation Council for Pierce County. The majority of her career has been in private practice in Menomonie, focusing on Guardian ad litum services for children and vulnerable adults.
Lynn’s professional motivation was working for the safety and wellbeing of children. Lynn’s love for life was for her son, Dana.
Lynn is survived by her son, Dana (friend Jenna Hubbard) of Menomonie; her mother, Gerry “Esther” Krueger of Menomonie; a sister, Barb Knopps of Menomonie; a brother, Brian Krueger of Menomonie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and colleagues. Lynn is preceded in death by her father, Herbert.
