Linda L. Weber, age 63 of Turtle Lake
Born: August 28, 1945
Died: December 19, 2008 at Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand after a three year bout with ovarian cancer.
Linda was born in Durand. She was the daughter of Leonard and Lorraine (Hartung) Weber. She spent her entire career in the financial industry, most recently as a Real Estate Loan Officer for WESTconsin Credit Union in Barron, WI.
Linda is survived by her mother Lorraine, and three sisters, and three brothers. They are Joanne (John) Schwebach of Elmwood, Mike (Barb) Weber of Elmwood, Rita (Greg) Doverspike of Eau Galle, Mary (Tom) Baier of Owatonna, MN, John (Melissa) Weber of Arkansaw, and Charles (Becky) Weber of Elmwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and best friend, Joyce Doverspike.
Preceding her in death was her father, Leonard, and a niece, Crystal.
Linda courageously battled ovarian cancer and was an inspiration to all she touched during her illness. As a patient at Mayo Clinic, she agreed to clinical studies on behalf of other women with the hope a future cure will be found for ovarian cancer. She will be missed by her loving family, friends, and co-workers.
