Kenneth C. Bauer

Kenneth C. Bauer age 62 of River Falls, formerly of Prairie du Chien, died Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Comforts of Home in River Falls surrounded by his family.

Kenneth was born May 18, 1957 in Menomonie.  He was the son of Cyril P. and Esther L. (Bates) Bauer and lived most of his life in Prairie Du Chein.  He participated in various activities for more than 30 years at the Opportunity Center.  He enjoyed sports, bowling, basketball, fishing and playing guitar.  Ken was able to enjoy multiple trips, summer camps and competed in Special Olympics.  Recently Ken moved to River Falls to be closer to family where he remained the rest of his life.

Ken will be remembered for his never-ending smile, kind heart and ability to bring joy and happiness to everyone that new him.

Ken is survived by his father, Cyril of Elmwood; siblings, Dan (Kathy) of Moneta, VA, Donna (Chuck) Briscoe of Bloomington, MN, Nancy (Bruce) Reihl of Stillwater, MN, Karen (Tom) Conway of West St. Paul, MN, Jennifer (Greg) Radtke of Red Wing, MN; special family member, Sheri Miller of Menomonie, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Esther in 2019 and his brother Wayne.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Elmwood, Wisconsin.
