Daryl J. Stanton II

Daryl J. Stanton II, age 51 of Durand, formerly of Eau Claire, died after a lengthy cardiac illness on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at his home in Durand.

Daryl “Bootie” was born on January 26, 1968 in Eau Claire. He was the son of Daryl J. and Linda R. Stanton. Daryl grew up in Eau Claire and attended Memorial High School. After school, Daryl worked for various jobs over his career. Most recently, he was driving truck for trucking companies in the area. He continued trucking until a heart condition forced him to retire.

Daryl enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Packers, camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and music. Most of all, Daryl loved to spend time with family and friends.

Daryl is survived by his children; Daryl (Dani) Stanton III of River Falls, Jessica (Donald) DeWindt of Chippewa Falls, Devin and Dylan, both of St. Paul, MN, ex-wife; Janice Anderson of St. Paul, MN, grandchildren; Olive, Jameson, Gavin and Sterling, one sister; Roxie (Wayne Briggs) Bauer of Chippewa Falls, niece; Courtney Bauer of Chippewa Falls, great nephew to be; Easton, two brothers; Jeffery (Paula) Cooper of Custer and John Cooper of Beloit, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandson; Julian DeWindt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the spring.
