Kenneth D. DeLong
Kenneth D. DeLong age 82 of Elmwood, died Thursday May 28, 2020 at his home in the Township of Spring Lake, rural Elmwood.
Ken was born November 28, 1937 in the Elmwood area. He was the son of Joseph and Lula Bell (Bundy) DeLong. Ken grew up in the Elmwood community. He married Doris Marie Wheeler July 20, 1968. After marriage they made their home in the Township of Spring Lake, rural Elmwood. Ken worked at the Armour Meat Packing Plant in St. Paul, MN for many years. He then worked at Purina in Hager City until he retired. Ken enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Ken is survived by several nieces, nephews and “in-laws”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris in 2014, a son and daughter in infancy, a brother, James and a sister, Elaine Jensen.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Maiden Rock Cemetery in Maiden Rock.
