Sharon L Risler

Sharon L. Risler, age 58 of Elmwood, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at home after brief illness.

Sherry was born April 17, 1962 in Durand. She was the daughter of George and Angeline (Bates) Wolf and graduated from Elmwood High School in 1980. After school, Sherry worked at Safeway Foods (Marron Foods) in Durand for 16 years. Sherry married Richard “Dick” Risler on June 26, 1998 in Menomonie. After marriage, they lived in Elmwood and Sherry became a pharmacy technician at the Medicine Shoppe for many years. Recently, Sherry was the deli manager at the Countryside Co-op in Ellsworth.

Sherry liked gardening, crafting, entertaining, taking care of her lawn and she was passionate about her dog, Daisey. Most of all, Sherry loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spoiling all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 22 years; Dick, three step-children; Angie (Terry) Kitchner of Arkansaw, Rick (Kristina) Risler of Altoona and Justin (Paige) Risler of Arkansaw, 10 grandchildren, siblings; Larry (Mary) Wolf of River Falls, Bob Wolf of Owen, Mary (John) Ausman of Elk Mound, Rita (Rick) Nelson of White Bear Lake, MN, Bill (Teresa) of Hudson, Sue (Nick) Sperger of Durand, Molly Wolf of Elmwood, Joe (Teresa) Wolf of Elmwood and Tony (Jen) Wolf of Lino Lakes, MN, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Jim Wolf and sister-in-law; Judy Wolf.

A Celebration of Life will be held a later date.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
