Helen T Hardy
Helen Theresa Hardy age 92 of Menomonie,
Died: Friday January 23, 2009 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Helen was born October 8, 1916 in Mason City, Iowa. She was the daughter of John and Anna (Novotny) Jarosh. Helen grew up in Mason City and graduated from Mason City High School. After high school she began working at Montgomery Wards in Mason City where she met and then married Richard L. Hardy June 25, 1949 in Mason City. After marriage Helen moved with her husband, with his job as a Store Manager with Montgomery Wards. They lived in three states and nine different cities. They spent 20 years in Antigo before moving to Green Bay in 1979. After retiring in 1984 they moved to Menomonie where she has remained the rest of her life. Helen loved visit and to be around people. She enjoyed knitting, baking and taking care of her family.
Helen is survived by her son, William of Menomonie; several nieces and nephews; special friends Georgette Hovind of Menomonie; Betty Bradley of Wausau; Gloria Schoefield of Antigo and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard in 1999; two sisters, Irene Price and Lily Humphrey; three brothers, Ed, Louis and Don Jarosh.
