Shirley R Moser
Shirley R. Moser, age 92, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at a care facility in Altoona with her family by her side.
Shirley was born on September 5, 1928 on LaBrec home farm in Arkansaw. She was the daughter of Charles and Amelia (Youngman) LaBrec. Shirley grew up on the farm in Arkansaw and graduated from Arkansaw High School. She married LaMoyne Moser in May of 1951. After marriage, they lived in Durand and later moved to Rock Falls. Shirley worked as a waitress at Club 10 in Durand, Presto, Fabratech and Maple Island Dairy, all in Eau Claire. She was also the local Avon lady in the Rock Falls area.
Shirley enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the casino and traveling.
Shirley is survived by her children, Pat Moser of Rock Falls, Mike (Dawn) of Eau Claire; two grandchildren, Jeremy Moser and Jennifer Moser; one great granddaughter, Elleanna Steuding; two brothers, Al (Marilyn) LaBrec and Don (Mutz) LaBrec; one sister, Delores Smith; three sisters-in-law Darlene LaBrec, Eva LaBrec and Mary LaBrec; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, LaMoyne; three brothers, Bob, Lyle and Doug LaBrec and two sisters in infancy.
Private family services will be held.
