Micky L. Clingenpeel

Micky “Mick” L. Clingenpeel, age 61, of Menomonie, has peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from a nine month battle with cancer, with his loving wife by his side.

Mick was born in Merrysville CA.  From there he has lived in many States and also in the United Kingdom in England.  Mick considered his home town to be Seattle, WA, seeing as he lived there for 20 years, which made him a hardcore Seattle Seahawks fan.  Mick moved to Menomonie in 2019 and married the love of his life, Jennifer Turner, on June 12, 2021.

Mick loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.  He was employed at Ford Motor Company and was a member of the UAW, Local 722.

Mick is survived by his mother, Joan Acker; his wife, Jennifer;  three daughters, Megan, Jenni and Beth Clingenpeel; two step-sons, Tyler and Hunter Turner; five grandchildren a brother, James Clingenpeel and his beloved dog, Bailey.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie Clingenpeel and a sister, Kathy Ray.

Mick will be dearly missed and always loved.  “Fly high Baby, you can finally R.I.P.”.

A Celebration of Life will be from 12:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday March 20, 2022 at the Gin Mill, 230 E. Main St. Menomonie, WI.
