Loyd E. Williams “Bob” age 76, of Menomonie, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Loyd was born September 15, 1931 in rural Menomonie. He was the son of Loyd B. and Bertha (Pax) Williams and grew up in the Menomonie area until he moved with his family to South Wilson. Loyd stayed at home and helped out on the farm. In the early 1970s, Loyd and his mother moved to Elmwood and later returned to Menomonie, where he remained the res of his life.
Loyd liked to work on cars, tractors or any kind of machinery that he could take apart. He also liked dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Loyd is survived by one brother, Pat (Delores) Williams of Racine, one sister Faye Miller of Knapp, three nieces, Ginny (Bill) Vivian of Neillsville, Maryann (Ralph)Christofferson of Racine and Lisa (Dave) Keyes of Menomonie, three nephews, Jerry (Kathy) Miller of Menomonie, Randy Miller of Knapp and Rodney Williams of Racine, 10 great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, one brother-in-law, Virgil Miller, two nephews, Kenny and Danny Williams.
