Dennis F Radle

Dennis F. Radle, age 80 of Durand, died Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Advent Health in Durand.

Dennis was born March 23, 1942 in Berwyn, IL. He was the son of Lavear and Dorothy (Berger) Radle. He went to school in Grays Lake, IL and the joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. While in the Army, he served state side at Caribou, ME Army Base. Dennis became a professional truck driver, log truck, tour bus, put him behind the wheel and he would drive it! He also drove for the farmers in the Durand area. Most recently, Dennis was a school bus driver for Pape Bus Service in the Durand school district.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Tina; five sons, Ron (Tammi) Motion of Loyal; Dennis (Lori) Radle Jr. of Largo, FL; Robert Radle of Round Lake Beach; Chance (Jenny) Radle of Eau Claire and Trevor Radle of Durand; one daughter, Dawn (John Skinner) Chizek of Great Bend, KS; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Larry (Myra) of Durand; two sisters, Diane Belitz of Grays Lake, IL and Terry Prior of Round Lake Beach, IL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gary in infancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

    Our heartfelt condolences to the Radle family. Dennis drove my son's school bus and Logan looked forward to seeing him every day. They were always joking around, and Logan loved that Dennis knew about Pokemon. We so appreciated Dennis and knew that the kids were always in good hands with him.

    I went to school with and worked with Chance at Econo Foods for a short time. I also used to stop by and see Dennis at his Sports Card Shop from time to time.
