Paul A. Norsten
Paul A. Norsten, age 67, of Menomonie, formerly of St. Paul, MN, died Sunday April 24, 2022, at The Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie.
Paul was born February 16, 1955, in St. Paul, MN. He was the son of Gerald and Rhoda (Juelich) Norsten and grew up in St. Paul. He graduated from HillHill-Murray High School in 1973.
Paul loved trains. Even at a young age he would grab his camping stool to watch the trains go by. He loved taking pictures of trains and even had an elaborate train set. Paul loved woodworking. He made many tables and benches. He loved spending time in the outdoors, especially at Lake Superior, sitting around the campfire and watching the Hummingbirds and Orioles. Paul played many games of cribbage with his cribbage buddies. He was always up for a game with anyone willing to play. He enjoyed classic country music and good game of darts.
Paul is survived by his children; Nick Norsten, Dan (Kayt) Norsten, Matthew Norsten; one granddaughter, Maisie; his parents, Gerald and Rhoda Norsten of St. Paul, MN; brother, Brian (Sherri Wasieleski) Norsten of St. Paul, MN; sister, Rene (Robert) Brahmstadt of Menomonie; niece Kelsey Brahmstadt of Onalaska; nephew Ryan (Ashly) Brahmstadt of Manitowoc; nephew Adam (Kylie) Brahmstadt of Menomonie.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday June 18, 2022 at Presentation of Mary Catholic Church in Maplewood, MN with a luncheon and Celebration of Life to follow in the church hall.The family would like to thank the staff at The Neighbors of Dunn County for their loving care of Paul.
