Donald L. Hofacker
Donald L. Hofacker age 91, of Elmwood, died Tuesday April 26, 2022, at home in the Township of Rock Elm, rural Elmwood.
Donald was born August 1, 1930, at home on the family farm in the Township of Rock Elm, Pierce County. He was the son of Robert and Frances (Laschinger) Hofacker. Donald grew up on the family and worked with his father on the farm and the plumbing business. Donald and his brother Bernard owned and operated Hofacker Brothers Plumbing for many years and where well known throughout the Pierce and Dunn County areas
Donald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elmwood for many years. Donald enjoyed traveling to Europe, Asia, and Mexico. He also enjoyed trips to casinos in Las Vegas and Turtle Lake. He enjoyed playing in Blackjack tournaments as he had a real knack for numbers. Donald maintained his ability for numbers and dates up to his death.
Donald is survived by several cousins and a special friend, Imogene Lenneman of Edina, MN and his neighbors. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bernard.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday May 10, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elmwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
