Theresa L Haglund
Theresa L. Haglund, age 43 of Menomonie, died suddenly at her home in Menomonie on Thursday, March 19, 2009.
Teri was born in Durand on May 26, 1965 and was the daughter of Leonard and Geraldine “Jeri” (Strickland) Haglund. Grew up on the family farm in Elmwood and graduated from Elmwood High School in 1983. After high school, she worked for McMillan’s Electrical Company in Woodville. She worked various other jobs before her illness arose. Teri moved to Menomonie in 2003 where she remained the rest of her life.
Teri liked to spend time with her friends, Camille, Sue and her family. She also enjoyed camping with her sister and friends, going to the casino, playing cards and going out to lunch. Teri enjoyed volunteering at the Dunn County Humane Society and the Menomonie Senior Center.
The family would like to thank Camille and Sue for their time, patience and love that they shared with Teri.
Teri is survived by two sisters, Gayle (Bill) Bock of Palm Springs, CA and Debbie (Bill Jarmuzek) Haglund of Menomonie, two brothers, Bruce Haglund of Arkansaw and Doug (Jean) Haglund of Elmwood, six nieces and nephews, Chad and Eric Bock, Hollie Wilson, Jessica Hintzman and Cory and Brent Haglund, six great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
