Donald J Bauer
Donald J. Bauer, age 77 of Menomonie, formally of Elmwood, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.
Donald was the son of Herman and Florence (White) Bauer. He was born on November 6, 1931 in the Township of Weston, rural Eau Galle. Donald grew up in the Elmwood area and attended Nippersink School. He worked various jobs throughout his life at farms and saw mills, Donald also worked at a tractor factory in Milwaukee. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald is survived by four sisters, Marcella Hyser of Crystal, MN, Ocille Steinmeyer of Menomonie, Theresa Kistner of Colfax and Berneice Asher of Elmwood, one brother Kenneth (Jean) Bauer of Menomonie, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Evelyn in infancy and Leona Bauer, a brother Galen and one niece Debra Hadler.
