Belle M Inabnit

Belle M. Inabnit, age 82 of Plum City, died Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Ellsworth Health Services in Ellsworth.

Belle was born on April 23, 1940. She was the daughter of Mike and Ella (Sterling) Inabnit. Belle grew up on the home farm in rural Plum City where she lived her entire life. She attended and graduated from Plum City High School. After high school, Belle helped out around the farm and took care of the home. Later in life, Belle worked for Treasure Island Casino in Red Wing, MN for 12 years until her retirement. Belle was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plum City and was a member of the Ladies Aid.

Belle enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and mittens. She shared her work with the residents of the Ellsworth Care Center and Plum City Care Center and family members with new babies. She also liked taking care of the farm animals making sure they were fed and watered.

Belle is survived by her brother, John of Plum City, nephews and niece, Greg Redding of Plum City, Jimmy Redding of Plum City, Nancy Thompson of Waseca, MN, Robert J. (Juliane) Redding of Maiden Rock and Kevin Redding of Plum City, many cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Ella, sisters, Ruth Redding and Katherine Inabnit and many uncles and aunts.

Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Friday, January 27, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plum City with Rev. Daniel Pfaffe officiating. Burial will be in the Free Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until the time of services at the church on Friday.
