Wilbur M. “Buster” Lewis, age 80 of Menomonie

Born: December 7, 1928

Died: April 25, 2009 at the Red Cedar Medical center in Menomonie

Buster was the son of Mark and Julia (Frank) Lewis. He was born and raised in Menomonie. Buster served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. On November 3, 1951 he married Angenette Grundman in Quantico, VA. Upon there return to Menomonie following the service, Buster and Angenette owned and operated Welders Supply Company in eau Claire until his retirement in 1994.

Buster enjoyed golfing, traveling, hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Buster is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Angenette, his children, Connie (Bob) Daniel of Prior Lake, MN, Lynette (Keith) Anderson of Colfax, Patricia Lewis of Mesa, AZ, Chip (Jill) Lewis of Eau Claire, six grandchildren, Nathan (Jodi) Anderson, Ben (Andrea) Anderson, Wes (Erin) Daniel, Mark Daniel, Cooper Lewis and Cal Lewis, two great grandsons. Kade and Easton Anderson, two sisters, Doris (Verlon) Wold of Menomonie, Donna (Sam) Gibson of North St. Paul, MN. One sister-in-law, Judy Lewis of Wausau. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ron.
