Angie M Davis

Angie M Davis

Angie M. Davis, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and partner, passed peacefully in her home on August 28th, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born 10/27/1970 to James and Ann Davis (Holmen) of Pepin, WI. She was raised and spent most of her life living in Pepin.

After meeting her partner of 30 years, Mike Johnson, she spent several years on the banks of the river helping him commercial fish and clam. Angie then dedicated most of her years to raising a family of four. She later worked many jobs, but the only one she truly loved was Stockholm Gardens. Here she could get her hands dirty and make things grow. Her own flower beds were a testament to her passion for helping create beautiful things.

Angie’s greatest pass time was hunting for agates and arrowheads. She took many long walks on the beaches of the Mississippi river or in the fields searching for her treasures. She also loved crafting, making beautiful agate jewelry, windchimes and candles.

Angie was a weaver of compassion and discipline, builder of a loving family, teacher of good and integrity and driver of dreams; always looking forward to the future.

Angie will be dearly missed by her soul mate and partner of 30 years Mike Johnson; her parents James and Ann (Holmen) Davis; her brother Bob Davis and his partner, Meggan Coffin, and their children Kylie and Kingsley; her eldest son and his family Justin and Crystal (Sonsalla) Butler and their children Hazel and Asher; her eldest daughter and her family Shayla (Johnson) and William Kertesz and their daughter Liberty; and her two youngest children James Johnson and Allison Johnson.

Please join us in celebrating Angie at the Lion’s Club in Pepin, WI on September 16th, 2023, from 12pm to 3pm.

Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Durand, is serving the family.
