Carl J Stuart
Carl J. Stuart, age 65 of Wilson, formerly of South St. Paul, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the American Heritage Care Center in Hammond.
Carl was born on June 14, 1943 and raised in Plum City. He was the son of Edward and Ione (Olson) Stuart. Carl served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966. Carl married Suzi Crownhart in Milwaukee and they later divorced. Carl worked for Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee for three years. He returned to Plum City and worked for Tower Asphalt as an Operating Engineers, Local 49 in Lakeland, MN for 20 some years. Then Carl started his own business C&W Stuart Trucking, operating the business for 15 years.
Carl is survived by three children, Jeanne (Fiancé Troy Sebion) Stuart of Wilson, Jennifer (Tony) Wolf of Lino Lakes, MN, Jay Stuart of Ridgeland, three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Elizabeth and Cameron Wolf, one brother, William Stuart of Maplewood, MN, three sisters, Gloria Struck of Cudahy, Mary (James) Slaaen of South Milwaukee and Judy Burr of Eau Claire, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kenneth and Jack Stuart.
Graveside services will be at later date at the Poplar Hill Cemetery in Rock Elm, rural Elmwood.
