Neva Joy Hutter

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Neva Joy Hutter. She was surrounded by loved ones on May 19th, 2024, when she lost her very long battle with Parkinsons and gained her wings. Neva was born April 17th, 1936, and lived a very full and active life.

Neva is survived by lifelong loving friend Luanne Erickson. Nine children William~Butch (Patti) Hutter of Ellsworth WI, Jeffery (Sherry) Hutter of Calcium NY, Paula (Curt) Stewart of Arcadia WI, Mark (Denise) Hutter of Amery WI, Gary (Carla) Hutter of Plum City WI, Ronald (Lauren) Hutter of Altoona WI, Kevin (Lori) Hutter of Fountain City WI, Dayna (Jeffery) Doughty of Arkansaw WI, Cory (Leslie) Hutter of Red Wing MN. Thirty-two Grand Children, Fifty Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great GrandChildren.

Loved by bonus children Joe (Mary) Ward of Durand WI, Mary Jo (Gabe) Andrus of Bay City WI, Chuck Weber Durand WI. Sisters Barbara (Bud) Sperger, May (Gordan) Delong, Carol Bignell. Stepbrother August Ziel. Stepsisters, Connie Bauer, Kay Tingy. Brother-in-law Bernard Frederickson. Too many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones to name.

Neva was proceeded in death by Parents Elmer(Rube) and Myrtle Smith. Twin sister Norma McRoberts, sister Karen Frederickson.

Neva was the center of the family. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Even though she fiercely fought Parkinsons for the last twenty plus years. She enjoyed family, friends, stamping, fishing, gardening, painting, card playing, cooking, canoeing, camping, traveling, and reading. Neva was a very talented painter and seamstress, sewing so many costumes and clothes. Neva’s talent really shown through in her cake decorating. She blessed so many weddings, birthdays, baptisms and special occasions with her cakes.

Neva was employed at Sanna Dairy and Huntzingers and many other businesses throughout her blessed working life. She belonged to The Red Hats and card club in Eau Galle and many other groups and committees through the community.

Neva will be very missed, always be loved and never forgotten.

Special Thank you to the staff at Durand Advent Hospital for the care given to Neva and her family.

Celebration of life for Neva Hutter on Saturday June 15 at Durand Rod and Gun Club, N7312 WI-25, Eau Galle, WI 54737. Memorial service starting at 12 PM arrival at 11:30. Meal will be served. Open house from 12 PM until 6:30 PM Hope to see many there.
