Marcia J Bauer

Marcia J. Bauer, age 53 of Durand, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at AdventHealth Hospital in Durand.

Marcia was born on December 12, 1970 to Roger and Minnie (Stirn) Brommer. She grew up in the Urne area and attended Durand High School and Alma Area Schools. She also was baptized, confirmed and was active at the Lyster Lutheran Church in Urne, especially mowing the cemetery. Marcia worked various jobs over the years and made many friends at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City, Wal-Mart Distribution in Menomonie and ventured into her own business, Bauerz Cleaning Service. Marcia married Troy Wagner, together they had one son, Jordan, and later divorced. Later Marcia married Jame J. Bauer on February 23, 2016 in Las Vegas.

Marcia enjoyed bird watching, boating, taking care of her flowers, her puppy and going outdoors with her family fishing. She took pride in keeping her family’s memories alive by taking trips weekly to the cemetery to maintain their final resting place.

Marica is survived by her husband, Jame; son, Jordan, step-daughters, Kayla (Daniel), Alexys, Keira and Evelyn, step-grandson, Daniel, several foster siblings, other relatives, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roger and Minnie (Stirn) Brommer, brother, Mark Brommer, Grandparents Henry and Wilda (Emma) Stirn, Grandparents Emil and Alvina Brommer, Godparents Uncle and Aunt Stanley and Janice (Stirn) Mau, her Uncle Glenn Brommer, and Cousin David Brommer.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00PM Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Rhiel Funeral Home in Durand. A Prayer Service will be held at 3:30PM prior to the visitation.
