Norma Jean Constantine, age 94 of Durand, died Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Hillview Assisted Living in Mondovi with her family by her side.

Norma Jean was born on December 29, 1929 in Omaha, NE. She was the daughter of Carl and Ina Mae (Blakeslee) Greve. Norma Jean grew up in Fairmont, MN and graduated from Fairmont High School. After high school, Norma Jean moved to Durand to work for her Aunt and Uncle who managed Club 10. While working at Club 10, Norma Jean met the love of her life, Robert Constantine, they were married on September 18, 1951 in Fairmont, MN. After marriage they lived in Durand where they worked and raised their family. Norma Jean worked at several businesses in Durand. Norma Jean took pride in working for the elections in the City of Durand, which she did for over 40 years.

Norma Jean enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and painting. She also enjoyed Bloody Mary’s and Martinis with her “Fab 5 Friends” group and she was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Most of all, Norma Jean loved spending time with family and friends.

Norma Jean is survived her children, David (Nancy) of Durand; Stephen (Debbie) of Mondovi; Michelle (Rick) Anderson of Chippewa Falls; Robert (Lynn) of Stanley and Mary (Marty) Weiss of Durand, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two sisters, Jan and Cheryl, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Constantine, son-in-law, Stan Genke, great grandson, Myles Anderson, two brothers, Carl and Larry and one sister, Donna.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30AM Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Durand with Rev. Emmanuel Asamoah-Bekoe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until the time of services at the church on Wednesday.
