Jane L Mulheron

Jane L Mulheron

Jane Louise Mulheron

December 15, 1950 - July 27, 2025

Jane Louise Mulheron, age 74, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed peacefully at home on July 27, 2025, surrounded by family after a courageous journey with Stage 4 lung cancer.

Born on December 15, 1950, in Eau Claire, Jane lived a bold and vibrant life full of curiosity, strength, and adventure. Known for her quick wit, radiant energy, and stubborn streak, she held fast to her 20-year-old habits well into her 70s-never one to shy away from doing things her way. She was a gem and will be missed immeasurably.  She was known as ‘mimi’ to her grandchildren, ‘mom’ to special others, and ‘Fluffo’ to her brothers. Jane is remembered as a devout mother to her children.

At 30, Jane pursued her dream of seeing the world from the sky, flying for 12 years as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines. Whether she was cruising above the clouds or enjoying the countryside roadtrips with her husband, Jane embraced the unknown with a venturesome spirit and a suitcase always half-packed.

Jane shared 55 years of love and laughter with her husband, Bernie Mulheron, after their first date on the sands of Altoona Beach. Together, they built a home in Sparks, Nevada, shared a deep devotion to family, and collected memories from places like Egypt-standing before the pyramids, sailing the Nile, and marveling at the site of King Tut’s tomb.

Jane found joy in the simple and special: Tuesday night movies (with popcorn as dinner), nagging Haydn about his haircuts, cheering on her husband drumming for the Mustangs, Friday evenings with her beloved "Gang of 8," and trips to the casino. She also loved cheering for the PBR rodeo, coffee at Caribou then shopping with Fiona, sunny afternoons on the golf course, and especially pizza breakfast as remembered by Andy (Mom’s hangover breakfast). Her zest for life was contagious, her presence magnetic.

She was a woman of deep faith, a lifelong Catholic who worshiped at Newman Parish and will be laid to rest through the church that nurtured her spirit.

Jane is survived by her devoted husband Bernie Mulheron; her son, Andrew Mulheron; her treasured grandchildren, Fiona Green and Haydn Mulheron. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Holly Mulheron (Green).

A funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, August 12th, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM and service to follow at 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Her laugh will echo in our memories, her stories will live on through generations, and her love will never leave the hearts of those she held close.

P.S.  Vibrant and colorful dress is preferred.

Bernie, Andy & Family, As you may know (& I expressed on my Facebook), July 28th was a special day with a super special sunset with silver-lined wings. That day is also special to me because I share a birthday on the same day with your Dad, Grandpa Ron Mulheron. Between the gift to me of the sunset from God & probably Grandpa, I believe it was also a message from Jane & them too, letting you know that although its a sad day, the Silver Lining is that she has her wings & is flying with all our loved ones waiting on us. My prayers are with you, & Im sorry this happened. But Jane is Home, Happy, & 100% free of the pain & stress this world requires of us. I pray you all see one day how lucky she is & the sorrow will dissipate. We'll NEVER forget Jane. (She's too hilarious to forget!) But I pray the tears shed these coming days will one day be for joy. That's what I think she would want given where she now is. I love you all. God is with you!
